Apple announced a bigger iPhone today, the iPhone 6 and the even bigger iPhone 6 Plus. The iPhone 6 has a 4.7-inch screen and starts at $199 while the iPhone 6 Plus has a 5.5-inch screen and starts at $299. The iPhone 5S now sells for $99 while the iPhone 5C is the new free iPhone. All prices are with a 2-year service contract.
Both the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus have Apple’s new A8 chip, Touch ID, faster LTE wireless and a new 8MP iSight camera with Focus Pixels. The iPhablet….I mean iPhone 6 Plus also features optical image stabilization. And both new iPhones have NFC for use with Apple Pay.
The iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus pre-sale starts on Friday, September 12 and they arrive in stores on September 19.
