As promised, Rockstar has released Grand Theft Auto III for iOS today. The game is a universal app, so it’s designed for both iPhone and iPad. This is the 10th anniversary of one of the most influential games of all time, bringing players into a massive and diverse open world for countless hours of awesome gameplay.

It’s supported on iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPod touch 4G, iPad 1 and iPad 2. It’s available in the App Store for $4.99, which in my opinion is a great price for a game like this.
