Reuters is reporting that AT&T sold over 200,000 pre-orders for the iPhone 4S in the first 12 hours of going on sale, making it their most successful iPhone launch ever. Pre-orders seem to have sold well among the other carriers too. Apple has updated the online store with shipping estimates of 1-2 weeks. Sprint has completely sold out of the 16GB model and is no longer taking pre-orders. They suggest to visit a retail store on October 14 instead.
