Apple has never advertised or published the amount of RAM found in any of the iPhones.  I understand that Apple would rather just focus on the functionality and not just a number usually used as a marketing tool by many companies, but being the nerd I  am, I still want to know.  Well it has now been confirmed that the iPhone 4 has 512MB of RAM, double that of the 3GS and iPad, and 4 times the amount in the original and 3G.
